The article reports on the 11th meeting of the working group "Grammar Didactics and Language Analysis," which took place from April 12th to 13th, 2024, at the University of Kassel. The aim of the meeting was to conduct further fundamental discussion of concepts related to grammar teaching and the legitimization of independent grammar instruction, in order to determine the current position within the field. This discussion encompassed inquiries into concepts of grammatical learning and teaching that were accompanied by considerations such as the cognitive processes involved in engaging with grammatical structures, or the relationship between linguistic and metalinguistic development.
