The report provides insights into the conference „Frühkindliches Spiel und literarische Rezeption – interdisziplinäre Perspektiven auf (immersive) Medien zur literarischen Sozialisation von Kindern“ which took place online on 02.03.2023 and was organised by the Pädagogische Hochschule Schwäbisch Gmünd. The aim of the conference was to initiate a systematic interdisciplinary assessment of the mutual potential of play and literary reception. For this purpose, various projects and disciplinary perspectives were brought together and discussed. The initial findings and perspectives are published in a conference volume.
